Close on the heels of a discussion over a rundown issued by the Central Board for Film Certification (CBFC) banning 'offensive words' which was later kept down, driving Bollywood producers today met senior functionaries of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry.
Authorities said that a mixture of issues running from evacuating bottlenecks for the film business, production of a solitary window freedom framework and fears about good policing, were examined. In the meeting in which Minister of State for I&B Rajyavardhan Rathore, Secretary Bimal Julka and producers, including Vikram Bhatt, Anurag Kashyap, Vishal Bhardwaj, BJP MP and performer Vinod Khanna, were available, it was chosen that there would be general communications between the Ministry and the producers.
Clergyman of State for Urban Development Babul Supriyo, who has been a playback vocalist in numerous movies, likewise went to the meeting. Rathore later said that a scope of issues identifying with the film business were examined.
